1. Take the ladder out of its packaging and place the structure on a flat surface.
2. Assemble the steps by fitting the pieces into the grooves until you hear the click of locking.
3. Place the blanket over the steps and adjust the Velcro fasteners.
4. Place the ladder against the piece of furniture (sofa, bed, etc.) and check that the non-slip base is in contact with the floor.
5. Let your pet inspect the stairs under supervision; offer treats to reinforce their use.
